“Summarizing 2022, we saw an absolute decrease in our CO2-e任务s, to a large extent due to lower production volumes. 然而, the intensity was slightly increased, mainly due to the lower production volumes combined with a lagging effect of sustainability improvement projects and activities. We developed and implemented a new governance structure with new processes and ways of working and we have initiated a number of projects and activities that will contribute to a positive impact in the years to come. The most significant project is called “项目的空气”, a first-of-a-kind, large-scale production of sustainable methanol and an important part of Perstorp’s transition, which in 2022 was awarded 97 MEUR in support from the EU Innovation Fund.”
